GCSE, AS & A Level Reforms In England

As you are probably aware the government have made major changes to the way in which students are assessed at GCSE.

The GCSE grades A*-G have been replaced by numbers 9-1, 9 being the highest grade, and 5 being deemed a 'good' pass.

This process will take place over 3 years. In 2017 English Language, English Literature and Maths will move to the new grading system, in 2018 all other subjects will move to the new system except for Design &Technology.

The documents below provide a useful and informative guide to the changes and hopefully will help to provide parents with a greater understanding of the changes.
