The group of German Exchange students returned to school on 20th September full of tales of adventure and with some friends for life made.

During the trip the students visited the beautiful University city of Muenster. A city where the bicycle rules! Along with 2 impressive cathedrals and a stunning church. Our tour guide told us about the history behind the 3 buildings and why the city needed 3 large places of worship.

They also visited the open air museum in Cloppenburg, where students chose between making their own spoon and learning the old traditional way of dying cloth. The two groups to spent an afternoon learning first-hand about traditional crafts, each taking away our own memento of our day.

The photos show the full group of both German and English students and the dye workshop where we used blocks of over 100 years old to relief print our own cloth bags.

We look forward to welcoming the German students to the Brigg in March 2017.
