The Scawby Academy Inter House Cross Country for all year groups took place on 16th November. Four of our GCSE PE leaders helped set up the course, marshall, hare and record the results of all the childrens' achievements throughout the day. Please see the flyer above for the results of this fantastic competition!!

We had been sworn to secrecy until today when the results were announced to the students in their assembly!!

Well done to all who competed!!

We recieved the following praise for the conduct of our sports leaders:

"Just a quick email to say how fantastic your four leaders were on Wednesday at the cross country event at Scawby Academy. Emily Sissions; Chelsea Shaw; Adam Rutter; Brad Hobbs.

They were all praised by the staff throughout the morning for their encouragement, helpfulness and professionalism in helping everyone achieve their best during the event.

They were called in by the foundation class teacher to receive 5 different rounds of applause for their contribution to a successful event.

Thank you again for organising these students to engage in these opportunities."

We are proud and priviledged to help out at such events in the local community and interact with all of the the local primary schools to help where we can.
