PokemonGo! - What is it?

PokemonGo launched in the US and Australia this week and it looks set to be this year's Summer Craze. In this article our Harm Reduction Officer Alan explains a bit more about the app, the risks and what parents can do to avoid them.

Staying safe online this summer

With the summer holidays just around the corner, children are looking forward to having more free time. For some, this will be spent using the internet to keep in touch with friends, catch up with the latest apps and online trends, and playing their favourite games. The team looks at how parents and carers can help and support them.

IWF Partners CEO Susie Hargreaves OBE

The Internet Watch Foundation (IWF) CEO Susie Hargreaves and partner in the Safer Internet Centre was awarded an OBE in the Queen's Birthday Honours List.


On hearing of her award, Susie said: "This is a great honour not only for me, but the whole IWF team. It is because of the dedicated work done by our team of analysts, that we've been able to make such a significant global impact in the battle to against online child sexual abuse images and videos.
