Sir John Nelthorpe School is a successful and popular 11-19 mixed comprehensive school with a rapidly growing roll (currently 731 students). It has a caring ethos and a long tradition of academic attainment.

This is a key position within the support structure of the School and Sixth Form. Starting from September 2019 the successful candidate will be fundamental in assisting in developing, implementing and evaluating individual education plans and individual behaviour plans for our Sixth Form Students under the direction of and working closely with the 6th form teachers and Director of 6th form. The post holder will be responsible for monitoring student attendance and implementing effective strategies to ensure students are not only attending school but also fostering a positive attitude and behaviour for learning.
