Term Time plus 1 day (Permanent)

30hrs per week (8:30am - 3:00pm, Mon-Fri)

Salary scale 3-5 (Grade 3)
£18,065 - £18,795 (£12,178 - £12,671 pro-rata)

Sir John Nelthorpe School is a successful and popular 11-19 mixed comprehensive school with a rapidly growing roll (currently 770 students). It has a caring ethos and a long tradition of academic attainment.

This is a key position within the administrative structure of the school supporting the SENCo and Learning Support team as well as providing a key part to the whole school administration team. We are looking to appoint a highly organised person with excellent literacy, numeracy and IT skills. Flexibility, confidentiality, ability to multitask and work under pressure whilst maintaining a positive attitude are the skills needed to cope with the demands of a busy school office environment.

You will have a good standard of general education including Maths and English at Level 2 (GCSE grade C or higher or equivalent). Experience of working within a school office and an understanding of the SEN function of a school whilst preferable are not essential.
