Grade 4, Scale Point 11-14
35 hours per week, term time only
Sir John Nelthorpe School is a successful and popular 11-19 mixed comprehensive school with a rapidly growing roll (currently 674 students). It has a caring ethos and a long tradition of high academic attainment.
This is a key position within the support structure of the school. Working to support the Pupil Services Manager in providing a coherent service to students, staff, parents and outside agencies, particularly with regard to the guidance, welfare, attendance, and behaviour of students. Candidates should have a high level of inter-personal skills including effective communication, advocacy and mediation skills with students and colleagues at all levels of the organisation. Excellent time management and organisational skills and good literacy, numeracy & ICT skills are also essential
