Are you thinking about getting into teaching? Considering completing your training year? Wanting to explore if teaching is the career for you? Then this post is for you.
enthusiastic, engaging, highly organised, flexible
Do you possess?...
excellent literacy, numeracy, and ICT skills, a good sense of humour, a positive attitude
These are all essential for coping with the demands of a busy school environment. If you can answer yes to the above, or if you feel you have the potential and would love to develop in these areas, we would love to hear from you.
Through our close links with North Lincolnshire School-Centred Initial Teacher Training (SCITT) and other Initial Teacher Training Providers, we are delighted to be able to offer an initial 12-month no-obligation ‘Pre-Teaching Induction Programme’ that will provide you with the necessary experience and skills which would place you in a strong position for moving into formal teacher training. Within this programme, you will have the opportunity to experience working with young people between the ages of 11 to 19 and across the full breadth of subjects, including many extra-curricular experiences.
We believe that by giving you a fully-supported opportunity to gain experience first-hand within the teaching environment is the best way to prepare you for the formal teacher-training stage leading to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
For an informal conversation and further insight to this post, please email Mr Gouldbourne, Assistant Headteacher (ITT, CPD, Quality of Teaching Lead) at:
