Sir John Nelthorpe School is a successful and popular 11-19 mixed comprehensive school with a rapidly growing roll (currently 775 students). It has a caring ethos and a long tradition of academic attainment.
We are looking to appoint a caring and committed Level 2 teaching assistant from September 2022. You will be working with a dedicated team to help support students access to teaching and learning. You will experience whole class, small group work and working with individuals on a one to one basis. We are seeking a friendly and caring person who is able to establish positive working relationships with children and adults.
You will have a good standard of general education including Maths and English at Level 2 (GCSE grade C or higher or equivalent) and will have achieved a recognised teaching assistant qualification at Level 2 or equivalent.
