Flippin' Pancakes

Image title

The sun shone brightly for the Sir John Nelthorpe Pancake Relay Race. The event involved a house representative from each year group including the sixth form having to navigate the course around the school grounds. They then had to pass on their chef's whites, hat, pan and pancake to the next house member. After many changes of position early in the race, Pelham forged a considerable lead after the Year 9 leg which they maintained for the duration of the race. Taylor House finished a comfortable second with Eccles snatching 3rd place on the finish line from an unsuspecting Lardelli. The competitors were cheered on by the whole school with both students and staff in fine voice!
