Students from year 7 and year 9 took time last week to think about former pupils who lost their lives in the two world wars.
On Friday 11th November at 11:00am students from year 7 laid a wreath at Brigg War memorial on behalf of the school, while back in the classrooms their colleagues observed the two minutes silence. After the ceremony they remained behind for a few minutes to learn about some of the men listed; men such as Joe Neall and brothers William and Kenneth bean who attended our school.
On Sunday the Head Girl and Head Boy, accompanied by students from years 7 and 9, represented the school in the official Brigg Remembrance parade. After a service at St John's church they walked to the war memorial and added a wreath from the school in memory of more than 70 former students from Brigg Grammar who died in both world wars.
