Almost 60 year 5 pupils from Broughton Primary School visited Sir John Nelthorpe School to experience some fun and challenging science activities. The visit also included taking lunch in the school canteen.
Activities were chosen from physics, chemistry and biology and gave the pupils hands-on experience in science laboratories.
Pupils made bath bombs to take home in chemistry; were challenged to build structures using spaghetti and marshmallows in physics and solve a crime using forensic science in biology.
The children did exceptionally well and were a credit to their school with everyone enjoying the great experience.
