Tata Steel Cadet Programme

Seven year 9 students were selected to take part in the Tata steel cadet programme. The students have been learning about and experiencing all aspects of the manufacturing industry.

Our work related learning co-ordinator, Mr R Belton, attended the final session on Tuesday 8th March where the students had to present their experiences of the project. It was noted how confident and engaging the Sir John Nelthorpe students were.

The leader of the project was keen to praise the students and inform Mr Belton how impressed he was with the students attitude to learning and conduct throughout the programme.

Sam Davies and Trina Hostad were award star cadet awards at the presentation ceremony.

Well done to all of the students who took part.
