Students from Sir John Nelthorpe School will be taking part in the Remembrance Day parade in Brigg on Sunday 13th November as well as observing 2 minutes silence on Friday 11th November at 11:00am during lessons.
The documentary below was made by students of the school to mark the centenary of World War One. The film sees 12 students from Sir John Nelthorpe School delve into the history of local soldiers from the area who fought in the Great War. They take a look at the lives of soldiers from Brigg, Scawby, Wrawby and Broughton and travel to various locations in France and Belgium to understand each soldiers experience in the war and explore their past.
