Trainee Teacher Feedback

Three trainee teachers currently finished their placement at Sir John Nelthorpe School and we thought we would share the comments they gave about their time at our school:

R Cowie (PE) - I have found my time at SJN an outstanding one. The staff at the school were supportive and made me feel like part of the team from the moment I arrived. The department I was in was excellent also. The teachers within the department were supportive and very knowledgable. I gained new experiences at the school and the teachers helped me with planning and assessment of the pupils. Overall I would recommend the school to any teachers who wish to better themselves. The pupils were well behaved, well mannered and enjoy the challenges that teachers put before them.

A Jenkins (History) - Absolutely wonderful!! I will severely miss you!!

E Koch (MFL) - I really enjoyed my time at SJN, mainly because of the great support I received from my department and other members of staff. I felt welcomed from the first day that I arrived! During my placement at SJN, I became more confident and was able to work on my targets. I believe that my presence in the classroom and my differentitation improved a lot.
