Congratulations to all the students who attended the Y11 certificates and prize giving evening on Thursday 17th November.
It was wonderful to see the students again and to recognise their efforts and achievements during their time at the school. Many of the students have stayed on to study in our 6th form.
Special congratulations go to Jessica Carter-Lyle winner of the 'Fortis et Fidelis' award, awarded for her sustained determination and committment to all aspects of the school.
Dominic So was awarded the Sir John Nelthorpe trophy for highest attaining student.
And congratulations also go to Archie Swain as the first winner of the Briggensians Trophy, which rewards perseverance, diligence, effort and engagement with the local community.
Councillor Rob Waltham, deputy leader of North Lincolnshire Council, and a former pupil at the school, presented the trophies.
The Briggensians Association is open to all former students at the Sir John Nelthorpe school.
