Full-Time or Part-Time Permanent from September 2024

We are looking to appoint an inspiring, passionate and skilled Teacher of Science to teach across key stages 3 and 4 and with the opportunity to teach at key stage 5. This is a full-time or Part-Time permanent position starting from September 2024. The post will be supported with an excellent induction and CPD programme.

It would be advantageous if candidates aspire to, or have experience of teaching A-Levels, but this is not essential. The successful candidate will have the skills and abilities to engage and enthuse different types of learners and to work productively as part of a team. Our pupils are looking for a teacher with drive and creativity, but most importantly a passion for their subject.

Sir John Nelthorpe School is a successful and popular 11-19 mixed comprehensive school with a rapidly growing roll (approximately 830 students). It has a caring ethos and a long tradition of academic attainment.
